How Can I Communicate with the Deceased?

In our last post, I discussed the two main stumbling blocks when you try to communicate with the deceased. This time I’ll be provide tips so you have the chance at contact.

#1 – Talk to them. They like it, and sometimes, they even answer – even if only in your own mind.

#2 – Many times when you communicate with the deceased they speak to you in your dreams. So be sure to keep a notepad by your bed to record those dreams because if you wait until you’re fully awake, you might forget what your loved one is trying to tell you.

#3 – Don’t believe in coincidences. When you communicate with the deceased, it often happens in little ways such as a familiar smell, a radio that turns to a favorite song or a running dialogue that happens in your head.

#4 – Be patient and relaxed. Usually when you communicate with the deceased, the strongest times are those when you’re body and mind are in a relaxed state because you’re more open to the subtle message they’ll send. It could be a familiar sound or a smell, or something more direct, like even seeing them.

#5 – Be friendly and not forceful. Just as in life, if you try to communicate with the deceased when you’re angry, they’re not going to listen, so not much changes between worlds.

IMPORTANT…The DO NOTS of Communicating With The Deceased

There are a few things you shouldn’t do when trying to communicate with the deceased. Essentially it involves anything of an occult nature – Ouija boards, séances or channeling. because these can be very dangerous activities because the spirits you might connect with are not your loved one, but rather malevolent spirits.

Tarot Cards – The tarot cards I use are
designed to gain insight into current events and
possible future situations in your life. Some tarot
psychics believe a spiritual force guides the cards,
while others believe the cards help them tap into a
collective unconscious. Personally, when you do a
reading with me, I believe it’s a combination of both
– spiritual forces guide me to what’s in your
unconscious by showing me events that have happened, as
well as possible life events in the future. 

Psychic Counselor – This service is what you
might call being a spiritual psychic. Using my psychic
intuition you can get advice on how to manage all areas
of your life – love, career, parenthood, etc.
Communicating with spiritual forces shows me where
you’ve been and where you’re going. At that point
it’s your decision to take steps to achieve the
outcome you desire. 

Clairvoyant – All my psychic services include
some type of clairvoyance. In other words, I acquire
knowledge about you, and events in your life, through
psychic, paranormal means. This usually means seeing
people, objects, or colors, as an example. I then convey
those images to you for greater understanding of what
they might mean. 

Clairaudient – A variation on clairvoyance is
clairaudience, the ability to hear sounds other people
cannot. This psychic skill can be described as an
"inner mental ear." It’s much like when
people think words without vocally expressing them. In
many instances I can hear the voices or thoughts of the
spirits close to you who are deceased. In many cases
you’ll have the chance to ‘speak with the dead’
through this psychic service I offer. Sylvia Browne
often uses clairaudient skills in her psychic readings.

Palmistry – This psychic service actually goes
by many names – chiromancy, palm-reading, or hand
analysis – but they all mean the same thing -
foretelling the future through studying your palm.
During our session you’ll learn things about your

Spirit Channeling – Spirit channeling is where
we connect to one particular deceased person, much like
John Edwards does for his audiences. You have the
ability to ask questions and I can psychically convey
the answers to you. I can also pass along information
that a deceased person wants you to know via spirit
channeling.

Pauline was born in Michigan but spent most of her life in the Detroit Metro area where she still resides today with her husband of nearly 30 years. Over that time she raised two children, a stepson and helped two foster children. But looking back, Pauline says she knew at age twelve what her future held.

Her First Psychic Readings…

Young Pauline was sitting outside her home when voices told her she would be married to a man in a uniform and they would have a son and daughter. Although she didn’t realize it then, it was the first of many psychic experiences she would have in her life. 

As the years went by, she continued to nurture her psychic development and, after her children were raised, she began doing psychic readings for others. However, she wasn’t met with open arms. At one point, in the 1980’s, she was nearly arrested at a psychic fair in Michigan since the misguided laws at the time linked the practice of psychic services to occult rituals. 

Why She Does Psychic Readings…

Although many areas no longer have such laws, some people today still have a negative attitude toward her abilities. Pauline, however, chooses to focus on the comfort she’s provided countless others thanks to her psychic readings. She enjoys the fact that she’s using her talents to help people find their positive energies so they can take the actions to improve their lives. 

When not doing psychic readings, Pauline enjoys spending time helping others, like a young lady at the Penrickton Center for the Blind. She’s the President of Clinton Valley Lions Club, which also helps the blind by running a leader dog program. She’s also active with the Children’s Miracle Network at Beaumont Hospital, which raises funds for serious and terminally ill children.

First Step for Communicating with a Deceased Person

Psychics are more in tune with communicating with a deceased person so they know what to look for, but there are a two tips you can do yourself, but it’s not easy. This is especially true if the person they love has just passed away.

Often when communicating with a deceased person they come through via your senses other than sight. For example, have you ever smelled your mother’s perfume? Has it ever felt like your brother’s hands are on your shoulders? Do the lights, or even a radio, turn off or on with no explanation?

A deceased person trying to communicate with you will often look for ways to breach the physical world. So a ghostly encounter isn’t always about seeing an apparition – it’s often something that happens beyond ‘the visual’. I always recommend to my clients that they look for other ‘clues’ that someone might be trying to convey.

The two main stumbling blocks that most people face when communicating with a deceased person is really their own attitude…

1. They tell themselves that, intellectually, communicating with a deceased person is impossible.

2. They’re so obsessed about communicating with a departed loved one to the point of distraction.

If one, or both, of these things happen then it blocks communicating with a deceased person and they never have an encounter. Here’s an example of what I mean…

One of my clients who thought communicating with a deceased person IS possible would smell her father’s cologne anytime she watched a TV show they both enjoyed. On the other hand, her mother was a bit of a skeptic (and still buried in her grief) had no experience. However, about a year after the man’s passing the mother was absently washing dishes when suddenly she too smelled his cologne. Once she moved beyond the initial shock of his death she was able to have the same experiences as her daughter.

Now next week I’ll offer a few practical tips anyone can use to try to start communicating with a deceased person they’ve loved and lost.
